The Vancouver Police Department responded to a report of a “man with a knife” near a Vancouver school Thursday morning.
Police say the incident occurred near Sir Charles Tupper Secondary.
“We worked with school staff to keep students safe while our officers searched inside the school and the surrounding neighbourhood,” said the VPD on X.
Police were unable to locate the man and believe he left the area.
“There is currently no specific safety risk.”
