Vancouver Police need help identifying sexual assault suspect

The Vancouver Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a sexual assault suspect.

Police say the incident occurred in the “early hours” of Saturday, July 15th after the suspect and victim met each other near Robson and Granville Streets. Both left the downtown area in a vehicle.

The suspect is described as dark-skinned man, with short black hair and a black beard. Surveillance images shows he may have been wearing a light-coloured t-shirt, checkered shorts, and flip flop sandals around the time of the offence.
