West Vancouver’s Mèreon celebrates first anniversary with new dishes

In Food by Anywhere Vancouver

Last week, a popular West Vancouver brunch restaurant celebrated its first anniversary, and to keep the good vibes going, they’ve enjoyed a number of new dishes.

Meréon first opened its doors in the heart of West Vancouver’s Ambleside neighbourhood last January. The 52-seat restaurant offers brunch, dinner and happy hour menus.

To keep the celebrations going, Mèreon is bolstering its menus that feature classic French fare like French Onion Soup, Lobster Bisque, Croque Madame and Beef Bourguignon. New menu items include Steak Tartare, Zucchini & Pepper Gratin, Lobster Carpaccio, Canard à la Lorraine, Classic French Omelette, and more!

Meréon’s new and improved brunch menu is available Wednesdays through Fridays from 11:30am to 3pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30am to 3pm.

Dinner service is offered Wednesdays through Sundays from 5pm to late with new dishes such as Lobster Carpaccio, Gnocchi à la Parisienne, and many more. Two new decadent delights also join the dessert menu: Chocolate Profiteroles and Champagne Mousse with Wild Strawberries.

As for happy hour, guests can enjoy the new Mèreon Burger, Tarte Flambe, and a number of drink features. Enjoy 25% off all bottles of wine, $9 glasses of wine (Laurent Miquel Syrah Blend, Sauvignon Blanc or Grenache/Cinsault), a trio of 2oz cocktails for $14 (French 75, Mère Bourgeois, Paloma) and Parallel 49 BC craft beer for $6 a sleeve.
