Four men are in serious condition after a shooting in White Rock Thursday morning.
White Rock RCMP responded to multiple reports of shots fired and a vehicle collision in the area of Roper Avenue and Lee Street just before 12:30am.
Police “located four men suffering serious injuries” who were given “immediate medical intervention” by responding officers. All four men were transported to hospital.
The 15600 block of Roper Avenue remains closed in all directions as police continue their investigation.

“The suspect vehicle fled the scene and a vehicle fire was reported in Surrey shortly after, however, the investigation to determine whether the two events are linked is ongoing,” said Cst. Chantal Sears.
Sears adds that the shooting appears to be targeted.
“This incident appears to be targeted and there is no ongoing risk to public safety in the area at this time,” said Cst. Chantal Sears. “The investigation is in the early stages and our General Investigations Unit has been engaged.”
