Vancouver Police are investigating an attack on a woman near Lost Lagoon in Stanley Park Monday morning.
A woman called 911 and reported that she had been “attacked by a stranger” while on Lees Trail. Police responded to the area just north of Lost Lagoon at around 10:45am this morning.
The VPD’s Mounted Unit and K9 Unit helped officers search the area, but no suspect was located.
The suspect is described as a dark-skinned man in his 20s, about 5’7”. The female victim said he was wearing a dark toque and a zip-up jacket with a checkered pattern on the front.

“We are in the early stages of this investigation, and there is some detail we are unable to share. However, we are telling the public about this incident so everyone can exercise caution in the area,” said Sergeant Steve Addison.
