A woman was found dead inside a Richmond residence last week.
Police received a request for a check-wellbeing at a residence in the 4900-block of Princeton Avenue at around 5pm on April 26th.
Mounties located a 71-year old woman deceased inside her home.
“Evidence located at scene resulted in members apprehending the victim’s 38-year old son, who was inside the residence,” said police in a release.

“This is an isolated incident with no ongoing risk to the public,” said Sgt. Timothy Pierotti of IHIT. “Anyone with information about the victim or anyone else involved in this incident is asked to contact IHIT immediately, as we work to build a timeline of events.”
