A youth was sent to hospital with “serious injuries” after being struck by a vehicle in Surrey Thursday morning.
At approximately 8:15am, Surrey RCMP responded to the report of a youth struck by a vehicle in the 19400-block of Fraser Highway. The pedestrian has been transported to hospital with serious injuries.

“The investigation is in the early stages and the Surrey RCMP Criminal Collision Investigation Team(CCIT) is working to determine all factors that lead to this collision,” said Cpl. Vanessa Munn.
Police say the driver remained on scene.
