North Vancouver RCMP say a youth was sexually assaulted inside a public washroom last month after receiving a report on February 25th.
Two days earlier, February 23rd, the male youth had stopped at the Inter River park, located at 1101 Premier Street in North Vancouver, to use the public restrooms.
“While the youth was using the urinals, the suspect approached and sexually assaulted them from behind,” said Cst. Mansoor Sahak.
The victim was able to strike the suspect who then fled the scene.
The suspect is described as a 30-50-year-old man, approximately 6 feet tall, with a medium to large build. He was wearing a black hoodie and dark pants.
