For many who grew up in Canada, a trip to Zellers wasn’t complete without a ride on the iconic Zeddy Wheel ride.
Many stores featured the ride that was a “miniature ferris wheel type ride” with carnival music. While Zellers and Zeddy are now a distant memory, a rare opportunity has emerged for nostalgia enthusiasts to scoop up a piece of Zellers history.
A Zeddy Wheel ride from the 1970s is currently listed on Facebook Marketplace. The seller, who is based in Mission, says on their listing that the ride has been kept in “immaculate condition”.
“Give your kids the ride experience you had,” reads the listing.

Originally listed for $1,500, the price has now been reduced to $700 to help find a new home for the iconic ride. The ride takes loonies, and the “ride counter” currently sits at 52,836.

While its been over 10 years since Zellers ceased their operations in Canada, you now have an opportunity to give their iconic mascot-themed ride a new home.
