Chirag’s family has created a GoFundMe campaign to help repatriate his body to India.
The fundraiser was launched by Anurag Dahiya, Chirag’s older brother.
“Chirag Antil, an international student from Haryana, India, who arrived in Vancouver in 2022 for his studies, tragically lost his life due to a recent murder in the city,” reads the GoFundMe page.
“We urgently need assistance to raise funds for sending his body back to India. If you are in Vancouver and able to offer any support or help, please reach out to us. Your help in this matter would be deeply appreciated by Chirag’s family and friends, as we work towards bringing closure and peace during this heartbreaking time.”
